"I am Angela Nottage and I am the Director and Registered Manager. I am a qualified nurse with over 30 years experience originally working in the Acute Sector and then as a District Nurse. More recently I have led and managed Community and Rehabilitation Services in a large London NHS Trust. I grew up in Buckingham so I know the local area very well.
Our ExemplaCare relationship starts with each client receiving a free and full holistic assessment by one of our registered nurses. You may well require social care and not nursing care, but we still feel everyone benefits from a full assessment by a nurse. If you choose ExemplaCare, I personally guarantee you will receive the very best care from every member of my team; all of whom has been carefully recruited by the nursing team and trained to the highest standards required. Each of my staff have that extra special 'something' which I believe will ensure you are exceptionally well cared for.
You may decide not to use ExemplaCare and in this situation, I will make sure you and your loved ones are sign-posted to other services to ensure you are safe in your own home."
Our team consists of a Registered Manager, 3 Senior Registered General Nurses, Physiotherapist, Care Co-ordinator and Care Support Workers. We also have a Marketing & Business Manager supported by co-ordinators for human resources, compliance and administration.
Our Care staff are trained to the 'Skills for Care' robust standards and complete theory and practical mandatory training. Those new to care are expected to complete the Care Certificate prior to delivering care with us.
We also provide ongoing supplementary courses & specialist training on a wide range of areas such as Dementia, PEG feeding, Diabetes, Palliative Care and other Long Term Conditions.
Our team have a wealth of experience and qualifications and we have a programme to support our staff to work towards further qualifications in Health and Social Care and Leadership.
